Laurie Fincham is an internationally respected loudspeaker engineer who pioneered the use of computer speaker design and evaluation. He is now Director of Engineering for Lucasfilm's THX division. His aim is to assure hat multichannel movie soundtracks are heard in theaters, both commercial and home, in the way that the movie studios want them to be heard.
